We were honored to join the Chambersburg Waste Paper (CWP) family, friends, team members and community leaders for the 50th Anniversary of CWP and the Grand Opening of C&D/MSW Transfer Station last week!

CWP is a full service company that recycles 200 million pounds of paper every year. The company is family owned and operated; it was started in 1974 by Glenn Adams deciding to collect paper in a pick-up truck. The company moved to its current location in 1976 at 2047 Loop Road in Chambersburg.

The CWP facility covers 30+ acres of land and recently opened its 40,0000 square foot transfer station. The Adams family is committed to sustainability and innovation. They employ nearly 100 people and provide services to five states with satellite offices in Harrisburg, Hagerstown and Martinsburg.

CWP provides many recycling services such as trash-n-tow, document shredding, power washing, roll off containers and commercial services. Whatever your recycling needs are, they will customize a solution that fits your needs and reduces your carbon footprint.
