The Chambersburg Memorial YMCA recently received $2,000 raised from the 3rd Annual Rally in the Valley Pickleball Tournament hosted by the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce.

Held this past October, the event brought together nearly 100 pickleball enthusiasts of all ages from multiple states for two exciting days of doubles competition with categories for men, women and mixed teams in the under-60 and over-60 divisions.

“We are proud to host this tournament that supports friendly competition, wellness and ultimately supports the YMCA,” said Angela Schaeffer, director of operations for the Chambersburg Chamber.

The Rally in the Valley tournament has become a much-anticipated annual event, drawing players from across the region to showcase their skills and enjoy the growing sport of pickleball. Proceeds from the event help further the YMCA’s mission of promoting healthy living, youth development and social responsibility.

Next year’s tournament will once again be held at the Chambersburg YMCA. Mark your calendars for October 10 and 11, 2025 for a fantastic weekend of friendly competition and community spirit.
