Deck The Town Contest Raises $1,314 for Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter
The holiday spirit shone brightly in Chambersburg as the “Deck the Town” holiday light display contest, hosted by the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce, raised $1,314 to benefit the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter (CVAS).
Chamber President Steve Christian presented the check to Tiffanie Smoyer, Executive Director of CVAS, on January 7. The fundraiser showcased the community’s generosity and creativity, with 25 properties in the Chambersburg area participating in the festive competition.
