F&M Trust Announces New President
F&M Trust is pleased to announce the hiring of Craig Best as President.
In this role, Best will oversee the bank’s efforts to grow market share, while ensuring a shared focus to maintaining the bank’s culture, building strong communities, and connecting customers with financial solutions. He succeeds Tim Henry, President and CEO, who successfully led the bank for nine years and will officially retire on April 29, 2025.

Best comes to F&M Trust from Peoples Security Bank & Trust, headquartered in Scranton, Pa., where he served as President and CEO since 2006. He successfully grew the 104-year-old community bank from $412 million in assets to $5.5 billion in assets over an 18-year period. Best brings extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate banking, retail banking and credit administration, strategic planning, and investor relations.

Best holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University. He is based at the F&M Trust corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.

Best is serving as President of Franklin Financial Services Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary, F&M Trust. Tim Henry will continue to serve as CEO of both companies, and Best will be appointed CEO following Tim Henry’s retirement on April 29, 2025.
