Leadership Franklin County Seeks Project Proposals

The Leadership Franklin County (LFC) Class of 2026 is now accepting project proposals from government organizations, educational institutions and nonprofit groups with community-focused projects that align with LFC’s mission of developing servant leaders.
Organizations interested in submitting a proposal must attend a mandatory virtual information session. Two session dates are available: April 23 and May 27. Registration for the virtual information sessions can be found at CVBAlliance.org/Events. Zoom information will be sent with the registration confirmation.
“The Leadership Franklin County Community Program provides a unique opportunity for local organizations to benefit from the skills and talents of our class members while allowing them to develop their leadership abilities through hands-on project experience,” said Virginia Harriger, executive director of the Greater Chambersburg Chamber Foundation. “We encourage organizations to submit meaningful proposals that will have a lasting impact on our community.”
Project proposals should be structured to be completed between October 2025 and April 2026. The deadline to submit proposals is June 20, 2025. Accepted project proposals will be announced by August 2025.
Organizations should carefully read the Request for Proposal (RFP) packet before attending the virtual information session as the packet has been updated and revised from previous years to better support the students and foster project success.
Complete details and the RFP packet can be found on the Leadership Franklin County website at www.chambersburg.org/leadership/. Specific questions about the process can be directed to Ginny Harriger at the Chamber Foundation by emailing gharriger@chambersburg.org.
